Routine tasks, such as the generation and updating of inventories, are suitable tasks to use RPAS.
The RPAs may use different technologies for these applications. Aerial photography of large areas and the subsequent digital processing of the images are a powerful tool, not only for industrial / commercial applications (storage of assets), but also for agricultural applications (quantification of crops), urban (count of street furniture) and even environmental (species population).
They are also useful tools for the management and control of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) inventory. In these cases, apart from being able to be used as readers of these labels, they help us to find the location of individual elements providing their position, either visually by parking near it or transmitting coordinates.
